The Les Cases beach is one of the most characteristic of the Alcanar coastline. It is located in the seaside town of Les Cases, spread along its sea promenade. It’s known for the white beauty of the pebbles that make it up and provide all the necessary services to have the blue flag label.
It is an annual award and an environmental quality certification system awarded by the FEE since 1987. It promotes and rewards the participation in voluntary environmental initiatives of the municipal authorities and tourism sector agents. The criteria for obtaining the Blue Flag are: quality of bathing water, information and environmental education, environmental management and security, services and facilities.
The Beach of Les Cases – Marjal has won this important award since 1994.
